Ad sizes and aspect ratios that still matter in 2026
A short reference for the aspect ratios AiAdsCenter supports and where they fit on Meta, TikTok, Google and YouTube.
Every ad platform still has its own short list of sizes it actually runs well. AiAdsCenter supports seven aspect ratios that cover almost everything you need day to day.
The seven ratios
- 1:1 — Facebook feed, Instagram feed, LinkedIn square.
- 4:5 — Facebook and Instagram mobile feed; converts the best in paid traffic on portrait devices.
- 9:16 — Stories, Reels and TikTok. Use the full frame.
- 16:9 — YouTube, Google Display, web banners.
- 4:3 — Older display slots, in-article units.
- 2:3 — Portrait display on Google.
- 3:2 — Landscape display alternatives.
Where AiAdsCenter puts them
In the creator, pick the aspect ratio chip under the brief. The chosen ratio follows your brief into Image, Video and Logo outputs, so a campaign can stay consistent across formats without redrawing anything.
What to produce first
If you do not know where to start, build three variants: one 1:1, one 4:5, one 9:16. These three cover feed, mobile feed and vertical placements. Add a 16:9 when you move to YouTube or Display.
What not to do
- Do not re-crop a 1:1 into a 9:16 and call it done. The focal point moves; re-generate instead.
- Do not add a 10 px border on a 9:16 — Stories and Reels crop the top and bottom.
- Do not mix text sizes across ratios. AiAdsCenter keeps text blocks consistent when you use the same brief across ratios.
